Colombia turned out to be the ideal holiday destination for me. Yes, this time I was on holiday. Of course I traveled around a little as well 'cause I'm just not made to sit in one place all the time. But the focus for me this time was more on filling up my batteries than on challenging myself everyday to discover the hidden secrets.

When people think of Colombia they most certainly think of an underdeveloped, messy country with a huge drug problem. When I depict them how I saw that country and show them my pictures they're mostly pretty surprised. I experienced Colombia as a very organized, modern and safe country. Their colonial heritage is visible and sensible everywhere. Besides that it's the nature's beauty of the Andes and the Caribbean Sea that makes Colombia a lovely holiday spot.
